Yr Urdd
Why is the Urdd important to us?
The Urdd is very important to us in Ysgol Pentraeth as it gives our pupils the opportunity to take part in fun activities through the medium of Welsh. Through the Urdd, our children can develop their language skills in a natural and practical way, encouraging them to speak Welsh confidently outside the classroom. The Urdd also supports our efforts to foster a sense of pride in their Welsh culture and heritage, through events like the Urdd Eisteddfod and various sporting opportunities. These activities not only promote the language but also strengthen friendships and develop important skills like teamwork and respect for others.
What are the benefits of being a member of the Urdd?
